They worry about what their bosses tell them to do. The top execs are trying to put cash in their pockets, use Honeywell like a bank. They are not here to make more or better products. Reducing costs, headcount, translates to cash for them in short term. They report to WS and all WS likes is cash and watches close how long it can last.
Rifs of employees who get the product made and repaired will help get the product out the door. Not. Guess MM isn't worried about shipping product or cutting past due.
@R4qvsVA-1xrj Repair and overhaul..employees that touch the product..ex..assembly and test
R&O - Repair and Overhaul. Touch Employee - One who handles hardware, assembly, test etc
Im not in Aero so pardon the dumb question...
what is R&O and whats meant by "touch" employees?
Anniston just announced layoff. No numbers of course. Said it will happen in February.
This place is shrinking faster and faster. S--- it up while you can, stock market and investors because this ship is headed full speed straight into the iceberg. Once it hits, this stock is going straight to the bottom.
Urbana too. Not limited to R&O. Now affecting “touch” employees.
Ah yes. The stock market is at an all time high. HON revenue is at an all time high. What do you get when you add booming economy and and stock market then divide by Honeyhell? You get more layoffs! Hahahaha this place is truly unbelievable but now it's becoming more believable. Just remember these cuts when they come to you begging to work hard to "make the quarter" and push for revenue! You can tell them to push deez nuts and you DGAF about their quarter or their bonus.
All they said in CLW was no layoffs in CLW, but hourly workers cut at other sites. No specifics.
Clearwater too
We’re you not at the tempe meeting they said it will not affect Tempe Aero
Too bad the rotten b@st@rds didn't wait until after the all hands on Monday. I'm sure it's a rosy picture being reported, even as we in US and CAN suffer RIFs
Just told tempe the same thing. No numbers.
