Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

What percentage of North America and European employees will quit?

So far from my informal discussion with office mates it does not seem like more people are considering quitting compared to a year ago

What do you think the quit percent will be by March 31?

I think it will remain under 3%

Half of all workers are considering a job change

Why give them 2 weeks notice? They don't care about you.

Plus that gives them enough time to fly an Indian over the pond to cross-train on your job.

I'll be giving my two weeks as soon as an offer solidifies. (band 3)

I'm hearing a lot of people 30% are getting ready but they are going to be choosy

The band 3 level are willing to go as soon as a good offer comes in. Band 4s mostly saying they will wait for bonus in March and then will actively look to leave

So far no retirement announcements as I think most are waiting to see if there is a volunteer RIF

I predict that 100% of departing employees who are not laid off will quit.

Sounds like a management inquiry, taking a pulse.
