Lots of layoffs in 2018!
Care to elaborate? I've seen similar posts in several threads on this board, but none of them give any actual info or sources, which makes them seem like alarmist trolling more than anything else.
Is there any actual info you can share with us?

It's official, I got laid off after nearly 20 years, they don't appear to be announcing it, but the training department has already started cutting. Good luck everyone, stay focused on your performance and stay near the top and you should be fine for a while.
Any updates with annual reviews complete 2018 low performers should be out or what is the word?
and there are no notifications on NY or NJ not for Dec 2017, not for January 2018, so ?
You can check any state that has a "Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification" such as NY and FL. This is all public record and announced usually months ahead of time. Employees that seem "shocked" by these layoffs are usually lazy and not proactive which is why they are being let go in the first place.
