I think they should get rid of marketing. They are pretty useless. Dont understand why graphic artist are full time seems like most of the time they walk around the store and play patty cake with the metro marketers.

Still no recent layoffs in NA. We still have demo, SSS, GA, and all other folks mentioned on this site recently.

In SW the last day was Sunday for demo and concierge. Severance or new job/lower pay was offered.

Metro marketing is a waste of time and money. It never drove sales. People would come in to use $10 off coupons they gave out at a yoga event and never step foot in the store again.

In the Florida region we have Metro Marketers for 3-4 stores each, Multi store artists, Store artists also, these stores would be so screwed without the store artists. So what have other heard that marketing will become part of amazon marketing?

I thought SSS was pt 20 in all regions and the MSI’s never touch anything SSS related in the NA. Typical of WF to do things differently in other regions if you can’t keep yourself busy in the 20 hours of SSS you are clearly not trying. Audits need to get done and the teams for sure just wouldn’t do them. With electronic tags in other regions scan audits don’t need to be done?

Oh please please please let me get what i want this time.

Please let sss and ssi go next please. We hate our jobs its so easy a squirrel could do it. Or one person from each team can do a dang audit once every idk 3 months. Come on wholefoods.

Monday please please pleaseeeeee

SSSs are part time in our region and their scan audits are all tracked and sent out in weekly reports. They have just enough time in 20 hours to keep the audits up and get pricing and scanning problems addressed. Most have additional positions on other teams making them full time employees. SSIs on the other hand are full time and do the SSS job, plus cover store tech support and get additional assignments from regional. The SSI in our store is always helping people if shes not scanning.

I wish SSSs would get laid off...and I'm an SSS! Honestly my job could be done part time. I had to add so many other responsibilities just to fill out my 40 hours. Once we get electronic tags this job could probably be done 1 day a week. I was on a product team before, and it's insane how much more stressful and full your days are...

My guess is that on Monday all buyers, GAs and ssi folks will be offered a payout or job reclassification. Why Monday?? It lines up with the concierge and demo layoffs.

Just my little fantasy, not based on anything I have heard. It would catch everyone off gaurd, as I expect most layoffs do.

Wondering what the timelines of these "changes" will be? 1 month? 6 months? 1 year?

They're worthless anyway!

All of them should go! They don't even make signs anymore

Marketing will be integrated with current Amazon Marketing team - with a group, and projects dedicated entirely to the emerging grocery side of Amazon.

Back filling positions means nothing at WF they hire up even if they know they are getting rid of people.

There are still marketers in the regions and metros (across the US). And they are still hiring/ filling jobs. So, who knows!

Marketing has been gone for 2 years now in the South region. I thought it was done across all regions when they were cut.
