Any chance we can get somebody to tell us exactly how layoffs happen at Humana? I'm assuming it's not just a written notification everybody is mentioning?
Do we get notified and then called into a meeting, or something else? I'm a nervous wreck, so knowing a bit more would be truly great.
Was laid off one of the previous times. Got a confidential email to call into a confidential mandatory meeting call the next morning and was told in the call. So sorry for all of you still involved in this.
To the person who answered that the person was not a Humana Associate etc,we know by your snarky insensitive answer that not only do you work for Humana you are probably the sadistic idiot that came up with this idea of being transparent.
I won't be rude and snarky OP. You will receive a confidential email inviting you to a meeting the next day. The email generally comes out the night before, usually a Tuesday or Wednesday. You will be in a meeting with all those being laid off. They will answer some questions but usually vague answers. The next day you will receive your severance package via UPS.
It's done by crystal ball and lotto. Oh and hair color.
