I was let go today. Package was really good in my opinion. Good luck to everyone that remains. Things are going to s--- for a long time. Not sure where the company is headed.

FP&A is a joke, all they do is generate reports. When you ask them to provide some information it takes weeks to get a reply and the report is usually wrong
Funny how those directing FP&A bear no consequence for its epic failure.
Heritage Conoco
FP&A is the 'golden child', definitely agree that they protect their buddies. Accounting is viewed as the labours and second rate employees.
Neil has to save 14mm or roughly 70+ people. I'd be shocked if he doesn't touch FP&A. But again... it's all about favoritism and the buddy system. If Neil or Warren 'love' you, you will be fine.
Heard FP&A is fully protected, even though they have 2 or 3 people doing the job of one. Most cuts are from accounting, again...
Let's see how Big Neil does his share in two weeks.
Wow, thanks for sharing! Our layoffs in finance are coming up and this relieves so much stress. Can I ask if you were a historical Cenovus employee, or did you come from ConocoPhillips with the recent purchase? I’m wondering if this is higher because Conoco negotiated terms for layoffs of its transferred employees within a certain period or if any Cenovus employee could expect this.
Under 10 years of service, that does not include bonus
That is a very generous package. Does that 4 to 4.5 weeks/year include the 2017 bonus? Or does that include the bonus payout?
Can you share your years of service? I’ve heard the weeks/year jumps up after 10 years of service...
Nothing is itimized. Bonus is determined later. Around 4-4.5 weeks per years of service (years rounded up). Full pay for February.
How many weeks per year of service? What was bonus payout?
Was anything itemized?
