There are lot of hiring positions on taleo web site, but none of them are real. So you can forget it.

in addition, what is the purpose of mentioning it on a layoff web site.

Ah, I forgot, where is the "old news" HR troll on that post ? did he/she got laid off ?

"What the heck is a scrum ceremony?"

I googled it and found that they are:

Sprint Planning.

Daily Scrum.

Sprint Review.

Sprint Retrospective.

Oracle/Dyn has been advertising positions in marketing and technology over the past year. What the heck is a scrum ceremony? Is there a secret handshake or funny hats involved?

Are they ‘opening’ positions for PR purposes? I mean, because they’re posted doesn’t mean those are approved reqs that they are actually going to hire people into.

A number of jobs opened today for Oracle Marketing Cloud as well. Largely seem to be product management though. I've seen in increase in open positions (at least internally) over this week. Timing is odd.

It is kind of clueless that they post jobs here isn’t it! It is also probably an effort to distract from everything else that’s said about oracle here

So many, much better and better paying companies that somebody with this skills set can work for. Stay away from oracle!

As for who would take the job, if they pay enough, they'll find someone.

As for the being eventually laid off - there is no job security, anywhere. Moving on after a few years is the new normal.

Having really hard time figuring out why would anyone posessing those skills want to touch Oracle with the proverbial ten foot pole...

And since you’ll be joining a company that’s essentially getting out of business and offshoring all the work it possibly can, be prepared to get laid off when the 3 stooges decide that you cost to much amd send your job to India, which will be much sooner than you expect. Good luck to any fool who takes this job!
