CHK has plenty of bosses but few leaders

CHK management just sacrificed 400 employees for the so called better of the company. What has Doug or Frank or Jason Piglet sacrificed? Doug could have sacrificed 30% of his $15 mil total package to save these employees. All three could have given a little so no one person could have suffered. If we had poor performers, then Do Your Damn Job and coach them out. Don’t throw them into a layoff and never have set them down to talk about their performance. I watched upper management do this and regardless of what was said they couldn’t be convinced.

But no. Let’s sacrifice the peasants so the royalty can maintain their status. Let’s get rid of hard workers who actually perform but let’s keep the s-xy girls because who doesn’t like eye candy. I can’t wait for the townhall for Big Bucks Doug to get up and try to give an emotional speech about how he cares for us all and how CHK is just suffering because analyst don’t recognize all of our hard work. Then in a couple weeks Jason Piglet will take something his young kids learned in 5th grade and make a new great program for CHK. Like his Saturday Night Live cowbell routine, or the Inovate-a-thin. Really. I mean seriously, next thing he will be handing out little gold stickers to place on our doors. I guess that’s what $6 mill buys these days.

What would really fix CHK is if we could hire more Anadarko employees. That would be awesome. The ones we currently have are doing us a world of good.

I’m so sick of people asking me where I work and being ashamed to say CHK. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy my job and I am grateful to have one. Everyone sees the horrible situation we are all in, and if you think I’m going to pass on that “old little lady” routine you have on obliviously lost your damn mind. Everyone knew from day one that story was complete BS and the fact Ole Dougie Fresh thought we would buy that story and especially those stupid shirts they had made is just a reminder of incompetent leadership. People just want to know the truth. We don’t want to be motivated by BS, we just want something to believe in and that something better be the truth. People can and will do extraordinary things for something they believe in. Unfortunately there is little left to believe in.

Keep yourchins people, the end will come soon enough. If we last the year I would be completely amazed.

You can spend all the money in the world on cultural Training but if you can’t get the trust and support of the workforce, then it is all a waste. Right now the majority of the workforce on campus doesn’t trust its management. Why doesn’t management send that survey out now to everyone on campus? Afraid of the results?

This company is done! The Big Bucks boys have just run it into the ground and blame their failures on the AKM regime. Yes AKM spent recklessly during the "boom" times, but DL and his gang have done absolutely nothing to improve the situation for the company. They just continue to bleed it dry and blame everyone else as the ship sinks. What a crying shame.
