Thread regarding Humana Inc. layoffs

Hcmss shout out...forget the buzz page shout out, Here it is, loud and clear

While I can’t mention names or initials, I wanted to thank my hcmss teammates, and those from my training team, and those that were reteamed a few months ago....from starting out in Tampa in August 2014....(training camp folk, you know who you are), to the hcmss that were changed to be PHCs, to the layoffs, reteaming, craziness and everything, thank you all for helping keep me sane....whether by IM, text, call, or email, role modeling when I wanted to scream, .....thank you all for making the past period easier for me....whether we laughed, cried, tried to figure out what the heck was going on and came up with some different theories, tried to figure out policies, changes, everything, I can honestly say, with love, respect and knowing we sometimes put the fun in dysfunction, we were and are a team. This is beyond a buzz shout out....heartfelt thanks, couldn’t be here without you all....and a Xanax, a Pepsi and a cigarette or two. Kumbaya

I was in the HCMSS training group in 2014 with you all! Thank you for this post. I was officially informed that I was impacted today. It s---s, but I will be fine as will all of you. Our role is completely different than it was described and we trained for in 2014. We all thought this was a "dream job," but honestly, it has been hell for quite some time. Hugs to you ladies xoxo

Darn auto correct....we put the humanity in humana, not out the humanity in humanity, but, in a way, we do, we bring out the humanity in humana

Ok, i will own it. I’m the persistent bugger who kept trying to leave early...it worked 50% of the time, might I remind you all....sad that our group has gone from the first transition of hcmss to PHC, and then lost more by some going to other roles by their choice, and then the layoffs....there’s 4 of us left in the game of humana musical chairs? You guys were awesome, my teammates have been awesome, and it’s hard to be one of the ones not rif’d, too....I will miss you all terribly, and you have made my life at humana, a strange role where we aren’t physically connected, to a connected relationship. And, since you all know who I am posting this, I hope you all get a good nights sleep, tomorrow is another day, we will do all we can for you and help in any way we can. We are one. We out the humanity in humana.

Training camp! We were one of the last groups to do it. For the hcmss who went to being a PHC who kept saying “we got this”, to the one who kept trying to get us out earlier than we were supposed to, to the bizarre role plays, adventures in Tampa, trying to figure who/where to go for dinner, man, you all were/are the best....and I bet none of us said “Sybil said....” once we were rolling in our roles. We were a mixed bunch, backgrounds, experiences and from all over the country....to the OP, you’re right, we are a great group and thank you for the shout out....and, the one who tried to get us out early succeeded at times, persistent bugger she was!

Shout out to you as well. I came in January 2014 as a FCM and move to PHC position when they decided otherwise in August 2015. The ride was rough bumpy trust me. But I’m free of this roller coaster ride and know I will be okay. Xoxo

Not certain who this is but I do know that I was in the 2 week Tampa training with you. For the first time I want to cry reading a post on this site! Wishing you love peace and happiness as it has been a long time since we have experienced that with this company. Our entire group was amazing. That being said I know great things await for you beyond Humana! Hugs.
