The theory has been that RAs would happen before folks are approved to book travel for FastStart training in Vegas next week. We were told travel approvals would be sent this week, so I figured the stuff would hit the fan in conjunction with that.
Then last week they started saying there "wasn't room" at FastStart for everyone, so they were not going to send everybody and were looking for volunteers to stay back. To me, that means they aren't quite ready for the RA yet, but if you're asked to stay home, you can be pretty sure you're on that list. Perhaps definitely if you volunteer!
THEN this week they screwed up and sent approval emails to everyone, even the ones that weren't supposed to get them, which puts them into a real pickle with managers trying to explain to folks they're really not approved (guess why).
Anyway, that's just an update on my own conspiracy theory, but the above info does come directly from a manager that knows it to be true.
