Early release

So PHC's get early release but the rest of us don't? That's not right

Does anyone know what the “Live Healthy is closing” letter says - how it is explained to members?

Remember if Humana cared about their members

They would have never got rid of us They don’t care what is said to the members they care about the $$$$ they will release SS and RN’s when they re-team........that is what was done in NOV .....Living Well is the Best Revenge

@anr... You are so misinformed. You are just now entering the boat that PHCs have been in, but we've kept our seats warm for you so you'll have an advantage over us. We have always been hourly and always expected to meet minimum expectations or suffer a PIP after two episodes of not meeting minimum expectations. Although our MOC was on a three month cycle, our rosters held nearly 700 members... that's three times the number of members on RN rosters. So basically we had the same amount of calls to make but not the luxury of added time because we would be called out by our coach if we tried to log in early or log out late to make our numbers. Sorry that these are all shocking new requirements for RNs but I'm sure that you can handle it at least as well as we PHCs have for the past year. Good luck to you.

Well this has taken a nasty turn. The original poster questioned the fairness of PHC early release. It is fair because the program's been eliminated. Period.

Wow... PHC’s...you don’t think the HCM-SSs and HCM RNs have gone thru the same cuts the last year??? You don’t think the HCM RNs have taken on reassigned members from PHCs? and when they are reassigned they are automatically showing up as OVERDUE because even though they were called 2 weeks ago by PHC, now they are late for HST call? So we have faced /survived during the cuts and worked our asses off too! All those people you had to reach out to now have to be called every 10-20 day vs every 60-90. So get off your high horse. Now for the next possible 4 weeks we have to continue to reach out to those people ON TIME or we are risked getting a PIP and being fired if we don’t. If we get fired... guess what? NO SEVERANCE. so honestly don’t tell me how bad you have it cuz we have been in the same boat or worse. At least now you have a guaranteed month plus your 2 weeks for every year employed to find a job. HCMs and HCM-SSs may not get that privilege.

Just a little perspective here... The PHCs have been hit hard in every round of layoffs since last February. Those who were finally released today have survived the last four layoffs and more than paid our dues. We inherited hundreds of reassigned members after each layoff and worked our tails off to catch up with overdue calls. We are the experts at handling sudden increases in case load because we've been doing it for a whole year. Our Live Healthy program is gone and we have earned early release because we've been through the fire all year long believing we were saving it. We did not succeed. We've spent the past three weeks closing down the program with some dignity while our hearts our breaking. A little understanding--instead of jealousy--from our RN and SS peers would be nice.

Everyone chill. Only reason is to reteam. None of this is different than in the past, they just let PHCs go because they’re ALL gone. PHCs went through all of this numerous times already.

I don’t think OP is mad at PHC’s, probably just frustrated with the whole situation. I think we all understand Live Healthy is no more.

We ran out of people to call on our rosters. My roster went from 500 3 wks ago to 230 today. There's no way anyone impacted today will actually work till April 9th. Just long enough for people to be movedto monitored

And HCMSS and cm haven't been stressed too? At least you've known your fate. We were left to wonder and worry for damn near a month. Yes, we deserve early release too. I know it was easier to do the PHC release than ours, because now they will have to reteam hundreds of people to do ours. I really wish everyone would quit acting holier than thou on this site. Everyone impacted is just ready to move on with their lives at this point. It's understandable if someone is a little resentful that others get to do that sooner than them.

Are you kidding me? I was a PHC, and this will be my last time on this site. I came to wish everyone well, which I am still doing. But for you to say it isn't fair that the PHC's got to leave today. Our program is gone. Do you want us to make your calls to? Sorry about that. You get your release in a week or two. We have been living with knowing all of us were gone since that last meeting. You just got it today. Sorry. You can make it the two weeks. For those who actually have a heart take care. And even for whoever had the nerve to say how unfair life is for them right now I wish you the best too.

The PHC role is being completely eliminated so even if they stayed a bit longer, there are no more members in the program, nothing to do, no one to call. I believe that is why they were given release today.

To the person that said it not fair PHCs are being released immediately. As a PHC the last couple of weeks have been stressful since we were told we were being laid off. I wish you early release as well but you are just now experiencing what we have been going through over the last couple of weeks. I wouldn’t wish it on anyone

HCM-RN here, in the past, it was like two weeks and then early release. They won’t keep us as they’re scared we will blab to members and create unrest, which we wouldn’t
