I was monitoring how number of layoffs was increasing since November. True number is over 1500 as of today, including contractors and employees. Who don't believe check Alex's org chart with total available personnel. Currently is below 3500 when back in November was close to 5k.

The numbers on the org chart are not entirely correct. Service providers is a category devised by HR and SCM to hide their people in (think there are quite a few IT people in this category too) . It even states on the org chart that service providers are not shown. If you need more people and don't want them officially added to your head count, just set them up as service providers... bloat your empire but you look lean on the org chart.
Actual number is 1078 since Oct 2, including those lost through divestitures.
Is it not true that the divestitures of the legacy Cenovus sites and Conoco sites amounted to at least 900 which aren't technical layoffs but they left with the Duke?
