Thread regarding Baker Hughes layoffs

GE total Mess with Its Baker Hughes Acquisition BH share price in freefall.

Feb. 9, 2018 10:54 AM•BHGE

Summary

GE announced the combination of its oil and gas assets with Baker Hughes in October 2016.

Baker Hughes has significantly underperformed its peers after suffering a 50% loss in share price during 2017.

GE's announcement of exit of its investment will likely result in large shareholder value destruction and continue its record of terrible dealmaking and capital allocation decision.
