The Winter Haven office is moving folks around to free up space for up to 1000 independents. A policy that has failed twice in the last two years is back

They messed up things so badly last time. They are held accountable for nothing and make a huge mess.
They are expensive and simply make a mess, that later need to be cleaned up with money.
They are independent claim reps and management has no authority to hold them accountable. And be sure not to invite them to lunch or participate in a office celebtation. They will, and have, sue the company and interpret these gestures as being identified as a State Farm rep.
Maybe 1 out of 10 is decent, but the majority are independents for a reason
I heard from someone in Tacoma that they were told Winterhaven was closing down.
Failed is an understatement. These IAs cost us approx $700/day each, jack everything up they touch, don't follow the SCPs, are not held accountable like a staff adjuster is and then move on when the bill comes due and some executive sh!ts his or her pants at the cost.
Yes, means independent adjusters. We use vendors to temporarily add to claim staff in high times.
What are Independents? I'm guessing maybe something to do with claims?
Independent adjusters?
What segment are they "helping" this time?
I like how we get more information from this site than from our own management.
