Thread regarding Humana Inc. layoffs

Post deleted?

What happened to the post about a com telling everyone that coaches decided who got their walking papers? I don't see it anymore?

People gotta get over trying to figure how Humana decides who to layoff. They have a certain figure in mind that's who will get laid off...that's why some high performers are let go with low performers. They are not firing us but laying us off.. don't need a reason. Sometimes it is just random why some are let go and not. In very first layoff last February whole teams were let go.

I have a hard time believing my coach threw so many under the bus, as you put it......they were good at their job, great scores, great attitudes. The RIF policy states where seniority kicks in if people are scored at an equal level, maybe more from teams were laid off because there was a metric driven score to stay? We were ranked and scored, maybe we needed to score, let’s say, a 95% or something, overall in the pita to stay....remember in a town hall a year ago they talked about wanting the “best in breed”, I thought that was just a term used for the Westminster kennel club, it’s not.....maybe there was a metric to remain.

It was your coach I have that info confirmed. That's why some teams lost none and others were thrown under the bus. Just accept and move on your better than she is.

People are missing the point. You were laid off. Not fired. If Humana determined they had too many people to do the job they have every right to let you go. So long as they don't discriminate based on the usual grounds like race they don't need to provide any reason. On the other hand. They cannot give you a poor reference unless you were on a PIP. This may not be 'fair' but it is reality. Just take the money and run.

It couldn't have been based on a narrow set of criteria that they couldn't manipulate. I know too many impacted nurses that always exceeded expectations. Coach bias was obviously allowed to play a part who the selection process. Coaches even admitted to this on the post that was deleted.

I was told it included some specific measurable data but primarily was subjective information. I.e., what was our overall attitude, how much would we help our coworkers, did we say negative things in group chat, etc.

I keep hearing that coaches determined the assessment. What is not said is that they were instructed to fill out assessment with very specific ranges. So it was not really their input. They were told what to put. Deceptive. Not really in their control. But they get the blame for it.

It's funny though. People coming here to complain that they feel censored or afraid to speak up and then what happens? They get censored. I am pretty sure thelayoff are controlled by the Illuminati just like the rest of the country. I blame Soros, Trump and the Clinton's. And that little old lady down the road, she isn't above suspicion.

PITA(Point in Time Assessment) based on data- quality scores/ metrics from MPS/ attendance and knowledge of role requirements FYI All PITA data entered by coaches were approved by their COM's too

And, in those threads were some rude comments which could have been seen as offensive and threatening by the site and they took them down

The RIF age post was people sharing their age. Most were over 50. The com post was a com said in a meeting yesterday am that coaches decided 100% who went based on the pita. Several people mentioned favoritism after that. A few coaches also commented and said that survey completion wasn't counted, you were scored mostly on attitude which left it open for favortism.

That is odd - both posts, the COM post and the age RIF'd post, are relevant to this site
