If 1st & 2nd shift execute the process you would not need more stocking on overnight! 60% of all stocking should be done prior to 3rd shift. Hence, non compliant CO's running the play color banded. We've been atest store in major metro area and it's flawless.

NHM are eliminating overnights and turning to day stock if it’s not high volume. Yay daystock !

The population of my city is 60 K. We have 2 wms and 1 Sam's.

First I thing I see is probably the wm in the white collar area closing at night ; the other store services the lower $$ demographic. Eventually Sam's will go, probably followed by the white collar wally in 2-3 years.

I could see, in low volume stores, doing away with the overnight shift. The neighborhood markets are already starting this. We are a 94 mil store and still need about 10 stockers a night to make sure everything is ready to go at 7am. Going to customer first we will be dropping hours that will drastically hurt us overnight. Current overnight ASM

Cap 2 has been executing in our store for over a year. Our ON team does only GM Home And Hardlines. They zone and topstock.
