Has anyone else at csw heard the rumors about layoffs Tomorrow? I heard them from people through out the plant all day. Just wondering if anyone heard anything from a reliable source.

L3T in Slc Had their layoffs yesterday. Not good. We been waiting forever for this to happen but now it’s done. Not sure if any more is to come
You need to be fired with Grammer like that, I'm not perfect but that's just horrible
More laid off coming for L3 all division. Time to prepare for your resume go elsewhere they lost contract left and right any they L3 management got themselves many law suit wrongful termination employee's I just can't waits New York see the picture why L3 loosing so many good people's. So sit back and watch the good news they screw themselves up. too many bean counter no education running around acting like they a hot with a peanut brains haha.

Nothing has happened yet and there is no firm date. They took the list up to JL and he wanted more. It has always taken them some time to get lists together, vet them, and then coordinate packages for people.
There is some talk of offering early retirement packages as well, that takes even more time.
It's coming, that much is positive ... It is just a matter of time.
also it doesn't matter if you see cops and just keep driving to call in sick... you still get laid off.. haha might as well go in and collect your check
I like how everyone just keeps moving the date... now everyone is going to say Thursdays the first... unless you have something solid don't post sh--... it's coming for sure and I don't think they have a solid date yet..
The day of reckoning has arrived. If there are lots of cops in the parking lot keep on driving and call in sick.
I have heard layoffs this Thursday in Eitings group
There were no layoffs as of yet, but they are coming from what I've heard. The latest number I heard was around 250, possibly operations and quality areas. There is no time-frame that I have heard. New president needs to meet what the last president did in revenue. Best and fastest way to save money, layoffs. 250 employees making 40,000 a year, that saves 10 million. I know I've heard talk of management being trimmed since we all know L3 is management heavy. And have you noticed there are a lot of senior employees "retiring?"
Are you sure of your facts? Didn't see any engineering packing boxes. Are you hoping there was a layoff?
I heard there WAS a layoff today at CS West. I heard they let 60 people go - mostly upper management and engineering. I heard there are A LOT more coming. The latest rumor I heard is 18% of the total employees across all departments.
Has anyone else heard anything? Can anyone confirm if there was, in fact, a layoff today?
