The offer is low? Huh? It is significantly higher than the stock price Q was able to reach without the offer.

The NXP deal is a tender offer which is quite different from the hostile takeover here. The shareholders need to voluntarily tender or offer up their shares under the terms of the pending deal or offer. As of last week it appears that less than 2% of outstanding shares were tendered. Main reason being that they think their company is worth a lot more that it is. Ironic position for the Q to be in right?
