Yup, when you’re in a product line that no longer has a future in the company and you’re not busy, you know they’ll come after you. I would personally not watch movies but aggressively look for another job.
That’s why they’re getting laid off. Obviously, they’re not busy enough.

I think this poster is referring to the character George Clooney played in a movie. He played a guy who delivered layoff notices. “Up In The Air”, I think was the title. The character had the same name.
