It's amazing how many troll posts are on here since yesterday...you will have one or two "real" posts, followed by 4 or 5 corporate cheerleader posts....they all sound like they were written by the same lame poster.....like we wouldn't realize this....sad....

Sounds like we're hearing the final battle between the stock shorters and the last hundred or so loyalists in the company who think they have the gold key to the crapper.
Yeah the only reason Sears had any sort of "profit" was the tax cuts and the selling of Kenmore. Had NOTHING to do with store sales, which were still down of course. It was spun to help boost the stock from dropping down below $2 which it was just about to.
Trust me, after the b---s--- of last week has gone away the stock will plummet once again and of course in the next month or two they will announce more Sears and Kmarts stores closing in at least the 100 store range.
The fact that sales were down 17% store to store and revenue down over 1.2 billion? The profit is one time paper profit that does not put cash in the bank. Facts are facts.

Anybody who is looking at the situation knows that Sears is on on it's last legs. They are going to need more than some pep talk or trying to sell smart plans or SWY to get Sears out of their situation
@YOT the only cheerleading is for people who want to see Sears fail. Who or what are you referring too?
Any posts that mention good news actually have facts behind them, the negative attack posts rarely do. Is that what is happening, Yahoo trolls coming here slamming sears ?
I'd love to see Sears pull off a win. Seriously. But cheerleading obvious BS isn't going to win any credibility on this site , or for the bigger picture, the folks over at Yahoo Message Board SHLD who look to this board and OTHERS to see how things really are at the company.
If one of your daily tasks is to come here to do damage control for a failing company, youre really bad at your job.
@ckd, I'm @x1q and I understand and agree. I think there have been many negative posts from people shorting the stock. It doesn't make sense why anyone working for Sears would be cheerleading it's demise.
I’m @ixg and I wanted to add I thought OP was talking about all the brutally negative posts the last week or two that obviously aren’t from sears employees. Talking about ebita and all this hi finance stuff that means nothing to me. I just want to have a job at a company I love working at.
Totally agreed, I wish they’d stop. I come here to find out some info about my job and they clutter everything with posts that have nothing to do with anything.
Whenever there’s the smallest amount of good news (the maybe profit or the new merchandise) someone runs in here and buries it. You can always tell because they don’t understand any of the company jargon (mpu, SGM, ASM etc)
Moralecouldnt be much lower and we don’t own stock to dump so I don’t know why they do it? It makes no sense.
Someone saying something good about Sears and Kmart and laying out the possibilities of things going right isn't being a troll. I wrote many positive messages about Kmart, not because I work there but because I like shopping there and I like the company. I wasn't trying to pretend to be different people, I was aware most people would see the posts were from me. If someone saying something positive about Kmart makes you annoyed or makes you unhappy then that says a lot about why you are where you are.
Yeah poster must have been using a crappy Sears computer too because they were each showing up 4-5 time originally.
