We are not too big and retailers want the profitability back they will gain from eliminating DSD. They are strategic and taking it back one by one. The people in home offices are the decision makers, not the people in stores. Sound familiar? Kind of like did any WM CBT ever ask you how you felt about a rediculous blind NOS at quarter close? Nope! You just have to deal with it! Same with the GM at store level, once we exit DSD Kroger home office will report their savings and earnings to shareholders while their shelves may be empty! Mondelez shareholders have enjoyed some good times with our stock while we have laid off thousands of employees!! Wake up, days are limited! Excatly! Nabisco has power brands! We're not going anywhere. We make too much money for them to let us go. Without us sales will tank. Stop trolling elves! Kelloggs has their layoff page. Go make up rumors on there.

Wall Street wants to know why we are still doing things the most expensive way possible. DSD. North American sales are down 2 years in a row. Not going to change for the better, people are eating healthier. All the growth is in emerging markets.. India, china, Latin America. Stores are demanding better fill rates and transportation is getting more expensive. Corporations are not here to create jobs, it's to maximize profits. Period.

Good luck to everyone. Onto bigger and better things. Unfortunately DSD doesn't work in this day and age. Amazon changed the game! Walmart is cutting costs and positions. Kroger is watching inventory levels as well. They want control. DSD won't work by "tweaking" orders.
