It is just a job, but that attitude allows employers to abuse their power! It is this abuse that created the need for unions! Can you imagine how different things would be if employees were protected by a union? Our HR is a joke, an extension of management. Personally I don't think it is reasonable to expect management to live by the same values they themselves have laid out in their own policies. There is also the standards of human decency, remember what your parents told you..."treat others as you would want to be treated". Karma s---s!
For some who have been with Nabisco for a long time, support a family with benefits and salary, finding a new job may not be as easy as one may think. Perhaps an employee with minimal time in wrote these posts! Are people owed?? It's these people who helped make lots of $ for Nabisco over the years. Owed, maybe not! Respected, definitely!! Cannot control what happens, only how you handle what happens! Let's hope management is professional!! Seen some not so professional behavior so it makes people skeptical!

Excatly! I was looking for a job when I found this one. We'll just have to find better one's. Good luck to everyone. I'm not sure when DSD will be ending but God will take care of us. God Bless everyone. Keep the faith and God will take you places you could never imagine.
Exactly. I'm not worried about losing job. If it happens it happens. Collect unemployment or find a new job. Not the end of the world folks.
