All of you in locations that have been/ look like they will be affected by coming layoffs - alert your local media and your stare and Congressional reps to oracle behavior. Bring them up to date on oracle strategy and the layoffs that’s already taken place. Let’s help oracle get some publicity for what they’ve doing, since the 3 stooges have done such a poor job of it so far. Just do it!

Call you local TV station, call your congressman and senator, call your governor, call your local school board and your local police and fire departments, call your friends and relatives, tell your postman and everyone you see or meet, that Oracle is not a nice place to work.
I just called my local media and told them Oracle was very mean to me.
Good luck with letting the world know what Oracle is doing.
The last thing oracle will do is sue you, that would only bring more publicity which they are desperately trying to avoid. Let the world know what oracle is doing!

Feeedom of speech is a real thing in the USA. If you get laid off you can say what your experience and observations are without fear of retribution.
Anything you immediately sign in a layoff isn’t worth the paper it’s written on.
Oracle top Mgmt are bullies who hide behind their lawyers at every turn. Of course they will threaten to sue. They do it everyday to customers and employees.
If oracle were a child in a school they’d be expelled or thrashed. The only reason oracle is anything today is bc of their database laurels . Everything else is sh--e.

Now you're just being silly. You are an at-will employee and can be let go for any reason at any time. Likewise you can quit for any reason at any time. In this relationship if anything you make out better because at least you get a generous severance. I suggest you channel your energy into finding a new job. Working for Oracle was great at one time, it isn't anymore. Let go and move on with your life. Your silly posts here will do NOTHING to prolong your time before the ax falls.
