Our store manager told us during exit interview that we (laid offs) would have access to Insite for 13 months. Access was blocked next day after last day. Need documents. ??

Hi, if I got laid off at one store, but there are other stores in the area with full-time retail associate openings, why can't my manager support my transfer? I have several stars and Macys Magic, never late (many times 5-10 mins I punch in early), but it seems he won't support my transfer but insists on my layoff! What gives? Anyone can help me understand this???
What “other positions” ? We laid off 43 people, there was NOTHInG to offer ANYONE!
What job was available that you weren’t offered at your store? Was someone else supposed to be let go to give you their job?
Same thing happened to me, kicked off immediately. Other positions were NOT offered to laid off employees seems wrong.
Does the AskHR function ever work? I have tried it many times and it is never available.
The AskHR function doesn't work, though it's supposed to. I'd rather use that than wait on hold 30 minutes, but them's the breaks. I don't expect to have much more need to contact them at this point, though.
exactly what Anonymous said. follow those instructions and you will be able to log in again. Use a brand new password.
I was laid off as well and I still get access to insite. In the packet that described your severance it tells you how to access it.
you still use your same employee ID but your password will be changed.
the password is changed to "temp"then the last 4 digits of your social. type that in then you will need to reset your password. then you will have access to insite.
