it is great to have experts who can talk but at this point of only getting the talkers without any other diversity, might as well get a gender study graduate as director/consultant for software development
this type of in significant and expert position but don't know a thing a.k.a. stupid af is the norm in not only India but APJ too because Dell looks for people who can speak perfect English with British snobbish slang to be at the top. Stupid and corrupted? Do not worry we have trainings.
This core team folks were doing something contributing to open source community. In BDC Dell storage group we have super techies who don't know coding.
they'll get employed with HP, most recruiters are not developers themselves, they cannot really tell they just look for keywords and pretty linkedin feeds. Big fat companies have brains and reaction speed of a snail. Repeat mistakes 1000 times and still doing the same things.
Again, good riddance to a team of developer posers who offered zero value from when they were formed in the EMC days to their recent mercy killing. They created a container orchestration engine nobody asked for, worked with zero accountability to any sales or revenue goals, and only operated to better their Twitter and LinkedIn feeds. Enjoy the unemployment line...

I sure hope so...all they did was sit around and parrot how important open source, cloud native development was while the rest of the working stiffs in the sales force wrestled with making revenue targets selling stuff that was designed 30+ years ago. They were no value whatsoever, except for feeding their egos, Twitter feeds, and Linked In posts. Good riddance.
