The new Q looks like the Quartz logo in use for years (qz.com). The original Q logo had some thought put into it. And the company is going to layoff engineers to pay for a new department of clowns?

Ah, I get it!!! The new logo Q is supposed to look like a urinal!
Probably the same group who gave us the f’ing multitasking posters above the urinals.
That‘s what you get when your company has a corporate design department. At some point, they are done designing logos, letterheads, business cards, Word templates, Powerpoint templates, etc. So what can they do? Ask to be let go? No, they convince management that all the old designs are not fashionable anymore and it all starts from
the beginning again. New logo, new letterheads, new templates, and so on. It‘s an endless cycle of keeping mildly useless parts of the company enployed.
