@1jxj, that was deep.
Right back at ya:
Put another nickel in
In the nickelodeon
All I want is lovin' you
And music! music! music!
I'd do anything for you
Anything you'd want me to
All I want is kissin' you
And music! music! music!
Closer, my dear, come closer
The nicest part of any melody
Is when you're dancing close to me
So, put another nickel in
In the nickelodeon
All I want is lovin' you
And music! music! music!

Yeah they basically just said the affected centers are moving to the HBA model. Not ideal for some but better than being laid off I suppose. I personally wouldn't mind going HBA, my commute is a killer but to each their own.
Summer has come and passed
The innocent can never last
Wake me up when September ends
Like my fathers come to pass
Seven years has gone so fast
Wake me up when September ends
Here comes the rain again
Falling from the stars
Drenched in my pain again
Becoming who we are
As my memory rests
But never forgets what I lost
Wake me up when September ends
They are transitioning to HBA. Hilliard Care is going HBA the other departments will still be there.
I'm in alpharetta, we have a random mandatory meeting in 20 mins. I'll update with any news.
Franklin going HBA
Huntsville gone
Mankato gone
Charleston Gone
Little Rock gone
Hilliard gone
ABQ gone in 2019
Employee accounts gone
Fin Svcs gone
I like how the person who states stop guessing is on the layoff blog.
The way home Based Agents schedules have been structured up to this point have been the least desirable dates and times and often requiring 2 split for hour shifts.
My center closed about a year ago. The signs are there. If the higher ups are there, if they are all having meetings, and especially if EAP is onsite, there's either a consolidation, moving to HBA, or a full on closure. Especially if the building you are in has a lease that is expiring soon or already expired. But the important thing to remember is, there is life outside of Verizon.
Virtual Call Center doesn’t sound so bad, and for some, it might actually improve the quality of their work.
Despite what the rumors claim (as to which centers are being impacted), it won't be stated until 330est/230cst, which is when leaders are meeting. So stop guessing and wait until it's announced
HOme Based Agent. it’s an all virtual call center
What does HBA stand for, for those of us not in the Wireless Call Center world?
I think we will know more at 3:30 eastern 2:30 central
Any one know anything about status of Columbia SC center?
Yes, all of those centers listed are impacted.
Are you sure about ABQ, Mankato closing?
How about the Little Rock center, there’s rumors flying around here today.
ABQ, Mankato closing
Rumor has it Franklin is closing and being announced today.
What about Albuquerque? Has anyone heard about ABQ?
Anyone hear about Hilliard Call Center closing? I heard Lowell is going there today (which never happens) and all of leadership have mandatory meetings with them today. Rumor mill has been hot and morale is lower than ever. I can’t imagine he’s here for a good reason.
Mankato had all schedules and shrink frozen to prepare for something taking place today or Thursday
Center is closing, advisors are possibly getting the option to be HBA. I don’t know if finance will be impacted though.
@1gec, on the upside, North Haverbrook’s got a lot going for it. Ever been to their drive-in? Their moon-bounce castle’s out of this world, and the zoo with fighting animals is wild.
Brockway, North Haverbrook, and Ogdenville.
North Haverbrook has no luck at all, considering their monorail mishap.
Any other centers feeling the same way? I can't imagine they would only target 1.
Eventually it will close. Take steps now to ensure you have stability in your future.
Rumor has it Charleston is closing. Not sure if entire center or customer service. Hard to believe it wouldn't be the whole center tho. announcement tomorrow.
