There is a ton of fear now in Greenville - what are you guys hearing?

My impression is that a year ago on this site people were a bit more respectful towards one another but now there's more toxicity in comments, more venom hurled around and more whining about everything. Tensions rising and anxiety going into overdrive I would think.
I didn't even read half the comments below because it looks all too familiar. So much negativity on this board in general, and just lots rude hostility towards anyone saying something against the crowd's wisdom and trying to argue constructively based on the facts. Every third or fourth thread there is someone who tries to say something against the common negative pessimistic theme and gets instantly insulted into the oblivion. Sometimes I think that people bluntly insulting others here without backing their arguments with any concrete facts deserved to be laid off. Really, GE will be better off without those a$$holes.
GE will rise from the ashes and become a great company again. It should change its name to Phoenix Industry.

Number of coming layoffs is actually closer to 400 in Greenville. It's almost 30%, not the 20% previously mentioned here.
Dut to attrition the only difference between numbers 7500 and 7200 are only 19 employees
The highest pay number is 7631, so anybody above 7431 will probably be layed off
