Thread regarding Sears layoffs

You are reading this the wrong way. These are the layoffs that happened at the end of January. There were about 150 in Illinois. The rest were in other states and reported there. Corporate associates would have gotten minimally 8 weeks hence the 4/1 layoff date as they keep getting paid until then. Of course there will be more layoffs but nothing announced yet.

This was originally reported when the 220 were let go, then this portion started to disappear from reports. Leave it to Sears to screw up a layoff announcement. It’s par for the course as a company. 1 in 3 chance of getting your appliance delivered on time and in good shape. 50/50 shot of having your SYW points work properly, Relay runners screwing up every order, Alfie (lol). Somebody please just put these guys out of their misery, they are bad at EVERYTHING they do.

FWIW, I am the person who tipped you off to the January 31 layoffs at HE.

It is coming/ You can bury your head in the sand or you can prepare. Your choice. Just ask those whou were laid off in the last round who were saying it would not happen.
