TBDs on the IT Org Chart

They are releasing a lot of first line but then promoting or hiring more first line.

There is some sketchy method to the madness, and someone is making those decisions.

Look at the new org chart for IT: they have many TBD on it where they should have used some of the leadership they released.

The TBD is because more people took the severance than expected. Instead of eliminating employees based on poor performance, they offered everyone a buy out. Any employee who was willing to jump ship will. This was a great way to eliminate the long term older employees and replace them with lower salaries. The heck with knowledge and experience, they do not value it anyone.

There are TBDs because they didn’t want some of the leadership they had so they released them. It used to be very hard to lose your job at SF. No more.

nothing bad with TBDs - always takes time to fill role

the bigger issue here is the loss of talent - a lot of skills lost cannot be hired, it takes years to develop
