Soon march 6 meeting will decide the big thing. If brcm wins, there will be 3 times bigger layoffs. And eventually qcom brand name will be gone but just a few products related to the modem connectivity.

BRCM might never stop the layoff. People from the old BRCM says if your group does not meet some profit standard, you are downsizing. Everybody constantly lives in fears.
OP reason is why my group switched vote to white at Bld-K last night
Perhaps the layoffs will be bigger with Broadcom, but at least they will be meaningful. The Q savings program layoffs are generally random and arbitrary.
