Yes, that’s definitely appreciated. The time and services they provide cushions the blow. They could give no notice and just say buh bye
Also, if you find yourself laid off, State Farm is paying a third party firm to help with resumes, interviewing skills, tips on job hunting, market analysis, etc. I'm working with them now and it's a good service. That and the six-months they are giving laid-off employees to prepare are the only things State Farm is doing right.
