Thread regarding General Electric Co. layoffs

Suggestion: GE to Restate the Results (It'd be smart)

Sometimes a restatement of past results can help stock price.

May mark a bottom in some minds. It lowers the bar for comparisons and a lot easier to jump over go forward.

The big investors look forward, they don't care that earnings in the past changing. All GE execs care about now is how to get the stock moving forward - bankers in charge. Don't like dividend cuts.

GE will have to sell somethings to help cash, question is will they be able to get good price in today's economy.

the bigger the scam, the less the likelihood that an exec will go to prison for fraud. Usually, they have enough money to afford a good lawyer plus the company backing, to avoid public humiliation...In a nutshell, they will all stay in their villas/mansions and enjoy their c---tail undisturbed....not to mention that they might go on to get another high flying job in another company...

...it somehow acts like a magnet for the others...since he did it once and got away with it...maybe he can do the same in our company and we will make a quick buck too !!

They deserve to be stripped of their wealth for the sake of filling the black hole in the pension fund !!!

The real question is whether or not the execs go to prison for fraud.
