7 years of BCOM Experience Here

Wanted to say hi and let you know to get ready for a ride of your career. Hock is a slave runner and it'll take a lot of adjustments and hard work to figure out both the culture and the expectations once you are on-boarded. It's doable, it'll not be fun for the while and many will give up. Let me sum up my experience: the first two years were horrendous and painful, it was just bad. After that, things remained to be the same but I learned to accept it.

Good luck!

The OP here.

  • Comp is in line with the market, based on numbers I am hearing the total comp is in line or slightly less if compared to QC

  • AVGO did not affect our comp structure (I am in Irvine)

  • Not from Brocade

  • Current IP address is in Montenegro, curtesy of NordVPN

OP, if you are with Broadcom, why do you have an IP address in SD?

How's the compensation? I would rather work long hours if it's less political and people actually done something useful and don't need to see deal with people hide behind fake innovations and drag the company down.
