Performance criteria for Director and above

If you don't own a high visibility project with a direct impact to top or bottom line then you have no place in the company going forward. You have to be directly responsible for the outcome. It's high time the status collecting directors get scrutinized for results, responsibility and ownership for getting things done. Also, track everyone's websurfing. You can easily weed out the non productive non performers. Management has been too nice and allowed employees to milk the company.

This is the level where the rubbish-ness starts. Engineers put the head down and just obey the orders.

Perhaps directors-2 levels is where the assessment should start again for the cuts++.

Why single our Dir and above? Seems like the culture of taking people credit, finger pointing, hiding information... Occurs at every level. It really depends on individuals integrity.

What ? But my director C and V keys are worn out from all the cut and pasting of status reports. I can't actually do something real.

Need to clean up Director and above. Get the remaining directors to work along side the engineers and contribute , write status reports first hand. They need to code, test and make builds.
