Someone posted a few weeks ago about more layoffs by May 4th....but nothing has been mentioned since?
Anyone have any true facts or information about this??

An executive from my store IS SURE there will be cuts to the Support side at the beginning of Q2. He is certain that it will happen. The sign team has already been told they will lose one position.
They dissolved the Last Act positions in my store, effective March 18th, in favor of Backstage, I guess. However, none of the Last Act associates were offered a Backstage position, they just shuffled us into sales instead if they had the positions available. The same approach was done to specialists. Could be something similar coming up?
No last year the cut most AST in Jan 2017, a lot of FT mostly. Last July they cut more, a lot of PT that time around. Then we lost another PT this Jan 2018.
i doubt there will be cuts in may. if there any more cuts, it will be in july, but it would not be like the ones in january.
ast was cut last july due to the introduction of DMET.
Fiscal year ends in January. It always made sense that they'd make cuts at the end of their fiscal year and again at the half-year (July). May 4th is only a few days into a new quarter, which doesn't follow the pattern.
Unless of course this whole "acceleration" bullpucky is messing with the predetermined layoff schedules.
Last year they cut ast teams around July. Who knows at this point.
The store that I work in had layoffs, but then this week started hiring some new employees....
God - please no. I cannot stand this any more - is it ever gonna stop... Darn it...
