HAH HCM-RN moves into the home

What would stop Humana from moving all HCM’s into the home? I have a feeling that is where HAH 2.0 is going. Once most members move to LTIH they are not placed back on their HCM’s after goals are met. The FCM manages them telephonically. I’m just saying this looks like the direction they are moving to.

i did home health for MANY years prior to being an HCM, there are lots of peeps out there, that do not want someone coming in their home, they just are not comfortable with it, some are def more open to telephonic management, if Humana is smart, they will keep both programs, because you can def cover more " ground" or people with telephonic, especially catching those that dont want in home management.

That would be interesting, but not all RNs live near humana members, it definitely fits with the home health type model

If you cant get the members to answer the phone good luck in them answering the doorbell Humana! You need to provide a service the members wants and be honest about the services being provided.

Yes in all the 2017 town hall meetings they only talked about how valuable in home visits were. Nothing about telephonic management.
