If you ain’t First your Last

As Ricky Bobby would say... If you ain’t First your LAST! Bye bye to anyone who was not good at their job! They will only keep talent at this point!

I agree with "Worried's" post ..... our store will be left with very few good Associates. I am sick to my stomach. It is unfortunate that it is not based on merit.

That is going to leave stores with all the winners. Long service grumps who complain about how “it used to be”, have a million attendance credits (so they call out on key days), have tons of accrued vacation (and take it irredgardless of storewide events/promotions in their main FOB, always need help navigating InSite, cannot handle multiple customers, hate doing recovery (because there was a team that did that before), etc. I know I sound super negative, but I cannot see how this will help our store operate more efficiently and get better results.

Whatever non-comm cuts must be made the associates who get let go are the ones who have the least seniority within the entire non-comm staff of store.

By department or by all the non comm associates? I don’t understand. Can someone who has been with the store longer than me and is in another area take my job?

In the case of non-comm sales associates it is strictly decided upon based on seniority, not merit.
