In my thoughts and prayers. At the end of the day know that He understands the hurt and pain and that He is in control. He knows what is to come and He has a plan for you. Please keep your head up and know He has not forgotten about you nor is He letting you fall to the wayside. May His will be done.

Your absolutely correct how can anyone be happy it’s astounding how they have little regard to the dedication we had. What about our families our health our youth we have ridiculous. All I can say is shame in the CEO and shareholders SHAME ON YOU!

10 year employee, not effected by today's closures. My heart literally hurts for all you who are suffering tonight. I am angry - furious even - that this company values it's associates so little that they can do this without a second thought.

My thoughts and wishes go out to all of you that got hit today.

Please know - your fellow associates are angry. Not a single positive thing was said in my club today by the associates regarding what happened. No one was excited about a bonus if it meant 63 clubs shut down. And hell - most bonuses were $200 because they've made sure to axe any and everyone with tenure.

I used to be proud to say I work at Sam's Club, now.....not so much. I appreciate everything I have from working for the company but there is no longer pride when it comes to my company.

So very sorry to all associates that have been hit with this devastating news today. Something is terribly wrong with the morals and integrity of this company that many of us, at one time were proud to say we worked for. I too was quite surprised this morning while checking emails that the company had decided to do all theses extras for us in the way of Bonus and the added benefits of leave time and pay increases. Then, BAM hit me like a TON of bricks!!!! Yep, there it was 3rd slide over on the front page about stores closing and blah blah blah!!! You know what, all I can say is Cowards!!!! This is a company that a man started that drove a freaking Old Pick Up Truck, a man that wanted to help save people money, a man that had a vision to help communities grow, and to help the Small Business owners that needed great deals to keep these businesses open. I know we have heard this said a million times, but folks, I guarantee you Sam Walton is doing flips in his grave tonight. I am truly sorry to any of you that are in one of these stores, and I wish you the best of luck in whatever may come your way. Don't loose your integrity or your drive to do your best everyday, it's a shame that the leaders of this once great company have lost theirs. Best of luck to all.

Today was the biggest cuts to come the next phase to come is less. Cutting one manager from every club, markets will merge leading to a territory position and eliminating several market manager positions, jewelry lead and technology lead positions going away.
