I was with Sam’s Club over 20+ years. I was a General Manager for over 10 years & these are the types of situations I hated. I hated the market meetings where we had to sign confidentiality forms & have to look the associates in the eyes knowing what was coming.
It’s the cold hard reality of corporate America. It’s not fun. I hopeall those involved will find jobs & wish them the best.
I am sorry to hear what happened to you but if you stayed with Sam’s for 17 years that tells me you have what it takes to make it. I believe in you and I believe this is just a stepping stone into the next job that God is going to provide. Do not waste your time on beating yourself up or thinking what is going to come next as you know you are better than that. 17 years strong tells me you are going to make someone very happy to have you with all of your experiences.
I’m sick to hear about all the long term associates having to start over. So many have given their youth to this company to only be eliminated in the end #heartbroken#maygoodthingscomeyourway#prayingforall
26 years. Blessed to have those. I pray for all of us that have been impacted. Stsy strong ,keep your faith.
