In my store, we are under the understanding that one associate in each commissioned department is getting the axe. That means one in ladies shoes, men's shoes, suits, BT, etc. Anyone else hearing that?

Just happend today at our store, lost a full time BT associate. Now we are three. Let's see how our scheduals work out
Sadly, I am unable to see that excel spreadsheet. I'm not that high up on the pay scale.
It all depends on the store. Check out the 2018 Spring Ownership under Selling Support Services and select your store (excel spreadsheet). That document will tell you what you currently have in terms of staffing and the ‘target’ staffing. There will definitely be cuts such as reducing each department by 1 FT and or 1 PT depending on store volume. If you have bridal in your store, it will definitely be cut. Year 2018 is all about retaining top talent and trimming the fat.
Could be reductions but it’s not necessarily done that way. Some stores could actually be changing a FT to a PT or Pt to a FT. Some stores even adding. Just have to wait.
