There you go!

Walmart's CEO Doug McMillon foresees fewer sales associates at his stores, but they'll be better paid and better trained.

Yeah, giant for now.

Walmart is at defcon 1.

Defense mode, they won’t always be a giant.

Once you start to slip lookout!

Remember K-Mart and Sears?

The company never had a soul, but you had leaders that wanted you to think it did, and albeit they were decent leaders. Now everything has changed and it has become a machiavellian campaign to catch AMZN. Stepping over a few thousand is no big thing in order to take down the giant....oh wait, we are the giant

I don’t shop there either!

They should learn how to treat people, for years I watched how they talked to people.

And yet he says the company will win with people. More like he expects them to win by eliminating people.

I try not to spend my money there. It’s a soulless company these days.

I’m on your side! I resigned, they were too dysfunctional for me.

The same problem that exists at the HO will then filter down to the stores. Do more with less. Less paycheck. Less headcount. Less respect. I no longer work for WM; I left last year. When I started, we were doing the work of 1.5 people. After a few years that went to 2. Then to 2.5. When I left, I estimate they wanted us to do the job of 3 people. It was a clusterphuck. I've seen riots better organized than the WM HO.
