Is it advisable to join Qualcomm now?

I recommend asking for Bay Area wages considering the amount of risk.

I would probably wait until there is a final disposition on the NXP and Broadcom situations. The company will be very different if either close successfully. Some good and some potential bad. Unless you really need a job I would probably stay put until the situation is more stable
