Thread regarding Change Healthcare layoffs

How many more dissatisfied customers can we afford?

Change still doesn't get it that pissing off customers is BAD and if they continue to reduce an already depleted staff customers will get more dissatisfied.

This is one my biggest issues with Change right now. We are already losing customers left and right because we don't have enough people to be able to provide proper service to them. And instead of working on rectifying that, Change's solution is to lay off more people to cut costs. Which will lose us even more customers and cause even more layoffs...

Is there really NOBODY among those in charge who do not see how this will not work in the long run?

If working hard is what is required to put all of the racist and bigoted legacy workers into an early impoverished retirement, then I will be most happy to work hard.

Those that are working 50 -60 hours to make up for RIF'd resources are making a mistake. It prevents CHC from feeling the impact of RIF'ing people. You think you are helping and being a hero. But you are betraying the others on your team by covering up the ineptness of mgmt. Integrity and ethics is a 2-way street. Not just for the benefit for mgmt but also for the quality of human life of those around you.

They don't care. It is all about the bottom line until the IPO.

I, too, have seen the impact of RIF'ing so many technical staff. There are contributors who care about quality of work and responsiveness to customer issues. But with workload, it is slap it in and hope for the best. The amazing thing is that after all the reduction in staff, mgmt is still trying to figure how to cut more.
