If it is anything like Sam’s. We were giving more responsibility (Electronics, Photo and Jewelry). There was no more pay and now we opens and close the store and carry keys to the whole building

APMs have a mandatory call Tuesday morning to cover “changes”. Store managers are required to be on the call with the APM. MAPM and MM are hosting the calls

What about specific responsibilities?

I see the MAPM positions going away (my speculation). Sam's club has already done away with MAPM's and Mkt HR personnel. Support roles are always easy to do away with.

Pure speculation.

I think that role will eventually go away, with possible mid year layoffs.

What are they doing to the MAPM role if APMs are not reporting to them?

Yes, you will be reporting directly to the Store Manager and will be considered and Asset Protection Assistant Manager.
