Thread regarding Humana Inc. layoffs

LTIH HAH Future?

Hi. I’m very worried after hearing last week that LTIH4 will no longer exist after April 1, 2018. I’m an IHCM and that will drastically cut my caseload and visits. We were told that Humana is pulling all members being managed back from the network. But I’m still not convinced that our jobs aren’t in danger. I’m fearful there will be reductions in IHCMs to spread out the members within the areas. Help ? Any info?? Anyone else feel this way??

Network IHCM. Doing my best to find a new job. Hopefully the few Members I have left will end up with a associate IHCM soon! Best of luck everyone.

A year ago the transitions program was changed then layoffs for FCMs both RN and SW followed about a month later.

Also, I thought the plan all along was to use more network, but that could have changed too.

I understand your worry OP and I agree with you because I'm feeling the same way.

I think they were vague about the network managers and I've noticed a lot of network managers quitting. Anyone know a network manager that could give some insight? The point is, FCM'S will not have enough members to visit and as a result will they downsize? Humana has already stated they want to do more with less.

HAH is NOT pulling all members from for assignment to associate IHCMs. Members will be reassigned to associate OHCMs when the opportunity arises to ensure associate IHCMs have full caseloads. This is and always has been policy.

Associate IHCMs have always had priorities over the network when it comes to new assignments as well. Again, policy.

I am actually seeing more of my members being sent to LTIH.

Totally agree...i see a RIF coming for IHCMs aftervaptil just based on the number of members we will need for our caseload.
