But what exactly is there in SPVSS to go back to Permira or any other firm? It is a dying technology and max would say 3 to 5 years. The NDS guys were smart enough to get a s---er in cisco and they had their own fortune. The horrible part was cisco keeping it for so long to realize and it was humane enough to keep it while bleeding with expensive nds headcount with an extremely low return. if its Nokia or Ericsson or they would have let it go long ago if its Huawei or zte they would have killed it on day1
