Thread regarding Oracle Corp. layoffs

EU layoffs on February 28

28 Feb. is the last day of all the experienced engineers in EU. Only Romania survives. good luck to all.

Does anybody know if this is true? Any more info on it? I've been trying to find where it came from, but I'm failing to find anything but this one line. I'm hoping it's not true, but from previous Oracle experience, I'm aware that it most likely is.

A lot of China was wiped out a year or so back, well before the layoffs in the rest of the world. We wondered whether the plan was to exit China completely.

This is true, on Feb 28 the last experienced support guys go on garden leave. By then Romania is in charge of support for mea.
