In a section below, it is stated that APMS are being eliminated. Another section states they will report to Store Managers. A third states that APMS are to be given the option to take severance pay of sixty days. Can someone clarify this, please?

This happened two years ago at Sam’s. It worked for APM bc he was already helping on the floor due to his previous experience and also bc he wasn’t in that position very long so he got a great increase in pay. However, those who’d been in the position for a while either got a little pay raise or nothing at all if already over the threshold. It worked for our club but prolly not for every club. Not sure how it will affect the stores!
Severance isn’t 60 days it’s based on years with company and your pay. Pull policy
This was the Wal-Mart side of the business.
Is this Wal-Mart or Sam's Club or both??
Just got off the conference call in regards to the transition and there was no mention of the option to take a severance package. Was that supposed to be covered there?
I'm not doing all this for 48k a year. I will be filing a lawsuit.
I heard take AP-ASM dual position or take severance pay. Your choice. AP-ASM will run store and be the store mgr's b*tch basically while the store mgr sits on their fat a-- and bark orders!
more info on reddit one says ap plus ops mgr one says apasm expect master keys, closing the store and everything else plus current role
The APM position is being transitioned to AP Assistant Manager aka APAM. You will pretty much have twice the workload with no increase in pay. The other option will be severance pay. You will be offered a lump sum payout based on your years of service with Wal-Mart.
I really hope its just becoming apam because if i got moved to bum f nowhere to lose my job I'll be pissed
Transitioned to an Asset Protection Assistant Manager position. Have not heard any severance packages being offered. There will be a call tomorrow with the Mkt Manager, MAPM, Mkt HR, Store Mgr and APM to discuss the new roles, supervisor reporting etc... Accepting a role may come up at that time and or severance. If you are affected you need to ask at that time.
