You different memberships Regular,plus,business here's the catch they stopped checking memberships so anyone with a regular membership has the same privilege as a plus or business so why try to up grade ? Then your poor cashiers why have them try to up sale the remember let them be friendly fast cashiers have a real conversation with them. Management needs to stop giving away everything they rather give it away than to to tell the member no whom has no receipt using his Moms or friends card to begin with. TBC on batteries says must have receipt for warranty with give away millions of dollars just batteries tires are just as bad instead of backing up the assoicate whom knows this. TBC should be just that not an assembly plant for the store the merchandise has 800 number if they need assembly. IN all they are the reason for the short comings Sam Walton said listen to your associates they are your best resource.

Cards are not checked at the door we let everyone in. We have not had a vip event in over a year. The person saying his club does well you better catch up on some reading on the wire. However the one true statement you said is absolutely true the members must win, even if it makes the associates look like asses. I thought procedures were in place for a reason, this could be why 63 clubs shut down. We can not make money or profit if we’re giving the store away on a daily bases. What store can you bring back product that’s a year old cause it broke. Who can bring back a trampoline cause your kids out grew it I could go on and on.

They offer the plus memberships not just to get you in early, its really the cash rewards and perks associated with it. I haven't been a member a year yet and have already racked up $60 in cash rewards.
RfepX0I-1qrr. why are you checking cards? direction was not to check let alone ask to see a card. you sound like a memb mgr or possible TL. in a smaller market. but the job is still going away soon. my club refunds plus daily members say there’s no benefit for them

Between 7 and 10 cards are checked .... take care of the member is our motto. And no, regualr dosent have the same perks as plus....regular dosent earn cash back rewards optical or pharmacy or electronics discounts....regular dosent get vip events like plus....yes you need a rec. For batteries 3 yr free replacement theres reasons why we do things at sams club. You may not agree with it but what can you do? I work in a tbc department, the building is frustrating but we do what we do per our managment and to take care of the member.....always always take care of the member.
I agree...Our Club gives away so much. If you whine you better believe they will give you a gift card for your trouble 😕
